Mauj on Red Herrings Asia 100 winners list

Leading wireless solutions firm Mauj Telecom has emerged as tech magazine Red Herrings Asia 100 winner.

Red Herrings list recognises promising technology companies in the region and is a part of the magazines tradition of identifying new and innovative firms and entrepreneurs, according to an official statement by Mauj.

The company, which operates from Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai, Dubai, London and New York, and has Sequoia, Intel among its investors, was selected from over 600 submissions for the listing. It was based on parameters such as financial data and subjective criteria like the quality of management, execution of strategy and dedication to research and development, the statement said.

We are delighted to be acknowledged as a Red Herring 100 Asia winner. Mauj Telecom, in less than three years, is established as the gold standard in the mobile entertainment business in India, Arun Gupta, CEO of the company, said.
