India to host Afro-Asia Cup
India have agreed to host the revived Afro-Asia Cup in Mohali next June, a Pakistan cricket board (PCB) official said on Tuesday.

India will host the three-match series on June 6, 8 and 10 between the Asian X1 and African X1, PCB director of operations Saleem Altaf told Reuters.
The Afro-Asia Cup was launched two years ago but not held after that because of the hectic international calendar. It has now been revived and the 2008 event will be held in Kenya.

Europe may host India-Pakistan one-dayers
India and Pakistan are likely to play a five-match ODI series in Europe in 2007, according to David Collier, the England Cricket Board (ECB) chief. England could host two matches with the remaining to be staged at other venues in Europe.
"We've had some discussions. It's more likely it will be considered in 2007," Collier told BBC Sport. "We've got a number of broadcasting issues we need to look at but clearly an India-Pakistan one-day series has some great attractions."

Socceroos score a dream draw in Asia
THE Socceroos have been handed a dream draw for their competitive debut as an Asian nation after being grouped with Bahrain, Kuwait and Lebanon in the qualifying tournament for the 2007 Asian Cup at the draw in Kuala Lumpur yesterday.
The finals of the tournament take place in Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand and Vietnam in July next year and the Socceroos should be warm favourites to make it that far.
The top two teams from each of the six qualifying groups, each made up of four countries, will join the four host nations in the 16-team finals.
