H&Q Asia Pacific Retains MarketcomPR for U.S. Communications

MarketcomPR today announced that it has been selected by H&Q Asia Pacific, a leading private equity firm that invests throughout the Asia Pacific region, as lead agency for communications in the U.S. In that role, MarketcomPR will develop communications initiatives to increase awareness of H&Q Asia Pacific among key audiences in the U.S., Europe and the Middle East including potential investors, deal sources, and potential partners.

Asia Pacific award for best IT practices announced THE ASIA Pacific Economic Conference Digital Opportunity Center (ADOC) is inviting government agencies, private organizations and other organizations in the Asia Pacific to participate in its second year of competition for the best use of information and communications technology. O2 splits Asia market under two VP-sales British communications major O2 has shuffled its management team in the Asian region by creating two new positions for vice-president sales. Chia Eng Keat, who was O2 Asia’s vice-president (sales and distribution) has een appointed vice-president (sales) North Asia & Middle East. In his new role, his mandate will be to oversee O2’s expansion in markets covering greater China, the Indian sub-continent and the Middle East. Novell says head of Asia-Pacific business resigns Software company Novell (NOVL.O: Quote, Profile, Research) on Thursday said William Hewitt has resigned his position as president of Novell Asia-Pacific for personal reasons. The company said his duties will be temporarily assumed by Rhonda ODonnell, the former president of Novell Asia-Pacific who currently serves as non-executive chair for Novell Asia-Pacific.
