Russia Offers to Increase Oil Exports to Asia
Russia, the world’s second largest oil producer, on Friday offered to increase crude oil exports to Asia to ensure energy security and reduce risks for the region, Asia Pulse reported.
Speaking at the Asian Oil Ministers Round Table, Russian Industry and Energy Minister Viktor Khristenko said Russia is prepared to assist in the task of ensuring energy security and hence reduce risks by increasing exports, diversify the commodity structure and increase the volume of processed commodities.
Russia will also take steps to stimulate foreign investment in to the country and develop new forms of international cooperation and create mechanisms to coordinate the state policy of regulating foreign trade in the energy sphere, he said.

Russia Gas Exports to Asia-Pacific to Rise
About one-quarter of Russia's gas exports will go to the Asia-Pacific region as of 2020, compared with about 5 percent today, and the proportion of Russian oil exports to the region will increase tenfold from 3 percent to 30 percent, Russia's industry and energy minister said Monday.
Russian gas supplies to China may reach 68 billion cubic meters by that year, being pumped through two pipelines beginning in 2011, Minister Viktor Khristenko said.

Israeli Pessah wine in demand in Asia, weak elsewhere
Kosher for Pessah wine exports to Asia are on the rise, but exports to North America and Europe have suffered in the pre-Pessah period amid increased competition from local wine providers, the Manufacturers Association of Israel reported ahead of the holiday.
The general outlook for Israeli wine exports, however, remained optimistic.
Overall kosher for Pessah wine exports fell 9 percent to $7 million between December 2005 and March 2006 from the previous year, but wine exports to Asia increased by 36% to $140,000 in the first quarter of 2006, the organization said.

Asia fuel oil prices were lower Wednesday, in tandem with overnight losses in crude futures.

Asia's largest Trade Fair concludes, Gujarat, Russia win 'Best Pavilion' awards
The fortnight-long 25th India Fair (IITF), the largest trade fair in Asia, came to an end with a colourful ceremony here on Sunday.
