THE NATIONAL Bureau of Investigation (NBI) has again sent a letter of invitation to Time reporter Nelly Sindayen to shed light on her article implicating Philippine Olympic Committee chief Jose “Peping” Cojuangco and Council on Philippine Affairs (COPA) secretary general Pastor “Boy” Saycon in a foiled coup d’ etat attempt.

“Ms Sindayen has been ignoring our previous invitations,” NBI Special Task Force (STF) executive officer Arnel Dalumpines said.

Dalumpines added that they sent the letters to Sindayen’s house in Magallanes, Makati City.

“We will again invite her to appear at the NBI because her statement is very vital in our investigation of the alleged coup attempt,” Dalumpines stressed.
